03-19-01 PETTY THEFT: A student reported the theft of her wallet on 3-20-01. The student called back to say that it was not stolen but that her pet ferret had taken it from her purse and hidden it behind the couch. Case solved.
04-04-01 OVERDUE STUDENT: A concerned mother called College Police to see if they could contact her daughter who did not contact her mother as promised. College Police located the student and she contacted her mother.
04-26-01 SMOKE INVESTIGATION: College Police responded to a smoke investigation at the Student Services building. They discovered a burning barbeque grill had been brought inside. It was removed and extinguished.
08-28-01 VANDALISM: A vehicle parked in parking lot #6 of the Kentfield campus was vandalized by having a hard boiled egg thrown at the hood. There were no witnesses to the incident.
09-27-01 SUSPICIOUS PERSON: College Police responded to the PE complex for a report of a suspicious person drinking in the men’s locker room. College Police located the subject while he was taking a shower with his pet rat. Police confiscated several bottles of alcohol and are seeking criminal charges against the subject through the District Attorney’s office.
09-30-01 SUSPICIOUS PERSON: A College Police officer was flagged down in parking lot #6 of the Kentfield campus. The person reported to the officer that he had just chased off a female sitting in his vehicle. The female stated that she sits in unlocked vehicles all the time. She also stated that she just likes to look through other people’s things. The victim did not wish to press any charges.
10-16-01 MEDICAL AID: A student was stung by a bee on the inside of the mouth while having lunch. The student was checked and cleared by medical staff. The student suffered no adverse reaction to the bee sting. The bee was found a short time later near the scene deceased.
10-23-01 CITIZEN ASSIST: Students were gathered outside of the Learning Center at 7:05 p.m. to look for the International Space Station to pass overhead. The students were unable to locate the bright object moving across the sky until an officer pointed it out to them.
