College of Marin’s football coach George Adams recently requested to be reassigned to assistant coach and fulltime faculty. “George wanted more time with his family”, said athletic director Jim Brovelli. “We appreciate the outstanding job he did as head football coach and are pleased he will continue with the program.”
Tim Adams was assistant coach in 1997 and returned this year in the same position under George Adams. Tim Adams has been named interim coach until the full time position is filled.
The Echo Times would like to congratulate the women’s basketball team for ranking 9th in the state and 6th in the Northern California ranking.
We would also like to congratulate the water polo team for finishing undefeated in the Bay Valley conference; and also to Warren Lager, who has been named Coach of the Year.
