College Police would like to remind students and staff to carry a small flashlight and be prepared for power outages day or night.
9/28/03 FIGHT - College police responded to parking lot #14 for a report of a fight between several individuals. When officers arrived the involved parties had left the area.
9/27/03 SUICIDAL SUBJECT - A concerned citizen reported to college police that while he was riding his bike across the Golden Gate Bridge he saw a person who looked distraught and thought he may be suicidal. College police notified bridge officials and the CHP.
9/25/03 VEHICLE ACCIDENT - College Police responded to IVC for a report of vehicle into a tree. No injuries were reported in the accident. The vehicle suffered significant damage and had to be towed from the scene. The tree was fine.
9/25/03 SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - College Police responded to the pool area for a report of a female shouting at herself. Police were able to talk to the subject and calm her down.
9/23/03 DAMGED VEHICLES - Two vehicles parked near the baseball field had their windshields smashed by foul balls. College Police urge staff members using the parking lot behind the PE complex to avoid parking there on days when the baseball field is in use.
9/21/03 SUSPICIOUS OCCURRENCE - Police received a report of vehicles driving at a high rate of speed at the IVC campus. College police have been watching the area and will be issuing citations for violators.
9/18/03 SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - College Police responded to the Learning Center for a report of a female disturbing the peace. Police located the subject and determined that she was developmentally disabled. Police counseled her on the appropriate conduct for the library.
9/18/03 THEFT - College police took a report of theft from a vehicle. The suspect took two lights from the outside of the vehicle and the wiring harness.
9/17/03 SUSPICIOUS SUBJECT - College Police received a report that male riding his bike was harassing female students. Police located the subject and admonished him on student conduct rules.
