"Band Starts at Marin"
A band is formed at College of Marin in hopes to build student spirit and for students who wish to participate. $25 was donated to further the band.

San Rafael Rotary Club takes on Project to give help in what was described as "badly needed area."

Women's equality speaker addresses COM students on women's issues
including unemployment and equality.

"Smoking Ban goes to Senate"
Policy to ban all smoking in College of Marin buildings arises from a petition signed by 487 students and faculty.

"Hollywood comes to COM"
Robin Williams returns to COM while filming the movie "Jack" in Ross. Local seventh graders attend set to learn about film making.
